Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before Him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is He who made us, and we are His;
we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise;
give thanks to Him and praise His Name.
For the Lord is good and His love endures forever,
His faithfulness continues through all generations.
When we talk about worship at Rexmont EC Church, we could tell you about our blended music (contemporary Christian music mixed with traditional hymns); we could discuss our prayer times and our fellowship with one another; or we might tell you that we are a Biblically-centered church.
All of this would only explain a very small part of what worship means to us. What has just been described to you is our ‘form’ of worship, but worship is so much more than ‘form’ ... it is the ‘substance’ of the worship that matters most.
Worship for Rexmont EC Church reflects our love and our gratitude for Jesus Christ, who we attempt to always place first in our lives. Our worship reflects the fact that because of all of His magnificent qualities and blessings, our hearts are deeply moved and our emotions are stirred.
