Happy Mother's Day!!!
Mother’s Day is that magical time when moms everywhere are treated like queens - queens who still have to cut the crusts off sandwiches and locate everyone’s missing shoes. Kids bring her breakfast in bed, which is adorable until she realizes it’s cereal floating in orange juice and a fork. But she smiles anyway, because she’s a mom, and moms have mastered the art of pretending burnt toast is “just how I like it.”
The best part? Everyone tells her to relax, as if the dishes will suddenly learn to wash themselves or the dog will walk itself politely without chasing squirrels like a lunatic. But even through the chaos, moms feel the love - sticky-fingered hugs, hand-drawn cards, and enough glitter to require a hazmat suit. And somehow, despite the mess, it’s perfect… because it came from the little chaos-makers she loves most.
